Important Liability Release Information


Our Most of the Treks & Mountaineering adventures are in remote areas, events are unpredictable. Arun Treks and Expeditions cannot be held responsible for the results of change, losses or delays irrespective of how they are caused. Your booking is accepted on the condition that you realize the potential risks/hazards involves in adventures of this kind, up to and including personal injury and/or death. NO refund or compensation is given if you choose not to or cannot complete your trips. You are responsible for any additional charges incurred if you choose to or cannot complete your trips for any reason.

I understand that there are inherent and other risks associated with tours/adventures of this kind and freely and voluntarily accept those risks. I understand that no refund or compensation will be made or given for any unused service or feature of the treks & Expeditions or for any changes or cancellation irrespective of how they are caused. I also understand that no refund or compensation will be made if I decide not to or cannot complete the trip, any additional charges incurred will be taken care by me in case of I decide not to or cannot complete the trip.

Please Note: The insurance company you have chosen to take cover with has a 24 Hour world-wide emergency assistance service. Should an accident occur after you have departed for your trip, Arun treks needs to be able to contact the emergency assistance section of your insurance company. Therefore, we need to know who they are and a contact phone number of them.

Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Booking Deposit Payment Required
Tour: US$ 500/- per participant
Trekking & Peak Climbing: US$ 1000/- per participant
8000m Mountaineering Expedition: US$ 2500/- per participant
Mt. Everset (North/South): US$ 5000/- per participant

Remaining Balance Payment
Tour: To be paid 45 days before from departure date
Trekking & Peak Climbing: To be paid 45 days before from departure date
Mountaineering Expeditions: To be paid 60 days before from the departure date

Refund of the Paid Amount
Tour/Trekking/Peak Climbing/Mountaineering Expedition
  • If you cancel your trip any time, you loose your deposit.
  • If you cancel your trip between 46 to 60 days prior to departure, you lose your 60% deposit.
  • If you cancel your trip between 31 to 45 days prior to departure, you lose your 80% deposit.
  • If you cancel your trip less than 30 days time, you lose full cost of the trip / NO REFUND.


Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any of our trips for any season whatsoever prior to the start of your trip. In the very unlikely event that one of our trips is cancelled, full refund of the payment received from you will be release. Arun Treks & Expedition is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by a group member in case of any cancelled trip (e.g. non refundable airline ticket, visa fees etc) You will, of course , have the option of choosing an alternative trip of equal of higher monetary value (different to be paid) during the duration of the cancelled trip.
